Yumemiya Fried Prawn Bowl

Rei and KC have been so kind to us eversince and we are really thankful when this couple invited us for a double date at Yumemiya Japanese Cafe on Rei’s birthday. One of the owners of this cafe is a friend of Rei’s sister so they decided to give it a try. The Japanese resto has an inviting and cozy atmosphere. But one thing for sure, it didn’t feel like you’re in Japan until you taste your food. Lol. I wasn’t able to get more photos since I don’t have my DSLR with me and my phone was running out of battery during that time. I managed to shoot these two though: Fried...

Maya Hotcake Mix and Egg

My boyfriend and I had one of the best midnight snacks together – pancake. We usually have it for breakfast, hence my FB status goes like this: Pancake for midnight snack! Feels like breakfast! Really love the rain tonight… Perfect! The rain made it memorable. Lol. Kidding. It’s us. Isn’t it fun to cook something or prepare a meal with your love one? Now, that’s simply romantic just when I thought that Valentine is over! Haha. We used MAYA complete hotcake mix: We just added one egg to make it tastier. It’s very easy to prepare since you just have to follow...

CouplesTrip New Year Greetings for 2012

I hope you’re having a wonderful celebration. Have a prosperous 2012! Raven and I will be back to Manila later. For now, we are enjoying our stay with my family. Lots of foods, great greenery and soft breeze! Ideal and romantic. Lol. As much as I wanted to blog about the entire New Year experience in Batangas, we’re so busy right now. Just making the most of our day away from the city. And I was not able to take more pictures of the dessert and other food. Super overwhelmed to do so! I love sweets!

Food at Thai Pan

We had our Team APAC Get Together/Dinner at Thai Pan last night but because I came late along with my two other friends, I didn’t get the chance to taste all the food they ordered. I just contented myself with Chicken Curry and Green Mango Shake. So, I’m just posting some food pix here courtesy of Alner. I’m not after the food, anyway.  But more of their company. I just love to see my team once again. Still, I had a great time with them! And as the title says, I’ll visit Thai Pan back to check out more of their signature dishes. Probably with my boyfriend by then....

Ichi Ban Da Ne - Japanese Resto

It was not long ago when my mom passed away and during those times, I did not really eat as much as I used to. I mean who would have the appetite to eat? Imagine, my mom was confined in the emergency room for what? Was it three days? And the times that I visit her and looked after her often had gruesome scenarios taking place in the background. Feel free to imagine whatever comes to your mind with the word “gruesome”. I seriously did not bother having breakfast, lunch or even dinner. I did not even drink any liquids during those days. I was like that for those couple of days I spent time watching...

In a frying pan, heat the cooking oil and brown pork for few minutes then set aside. 2. In the...

Strawberry Dessert

There’s nothing more romantic than cooking a meal for your partner. Unlike in a restaurant you can control all of the variables, decking your place out with charming décor, putting on Frank Sinatra and achieving the perfect mood lighting with a combination of red cloths spread over lamps and a sea of table candles. However, restaurants have the advantage of producing consistently high-quality food – at least if you go to the right ones anyway. They can also cook a wide range of dishes, a feat beyond the resources of a home kitchen and one chef. The risk with cooking at home, then, is you have...
