Food at Thai Pan

We had our Team APAC Get Together/Dinner at Thai Pan last night but because I came late along with my two other friends, I didn’t get the chance to taste all the food they ordered. I just contented myself with Chicken Curry and Green Mango Shake. So, I’m just posting some food pix here courtesy of Alner. I’m not after the food, anyway.  But more of their company. I just love to see my team once again. Still, I had a great time with them! And as the title says, I’ll visit Thai Pan back to check out more of their signature dishes. Probably with my boyfriend by then....

Ichi Ban Da Ne - Japanese Resto

It was not long ago when my mom passed away and during those times, I did not really eat as much as I used to. I mean who would have the appetite to eat? Imagine, my mom was confined in the emergency room for what? Was it three days? And the times that I visit her and looked after her often had gruesome scenarios taking place in the background. Feel free to imagine whatever comes to your mind with the word “gruesome”. I seriously did not bother having breakfast, lunch or even dinner. I did not even drink any liquids during those days. I was like that for those couple of days I spent time watching...

Cucumber & smoked-salmon with cream cheese

As a toast to MIHCA’s (Magsaysay Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts) success, the school celebrated it with an activity called “Retrospective: The MIHCA Open-house 2011″. Some teaser photos: Cucumber & smoked-salmon with cream cheese Gosh, I forgot what it's called! Olive in cream cheese... Those yummy servings were our appetizer as we made our way from the hotel rooms replica, kitchen, commissary area, bar, etc. The event is a dining and learning session in one. We had a tour around the campus and I learned something new on each designated area. The executive consultant...

Anyway, here are the sweet highlights of the night! The cake show! I was too close to the runway and the ramp models were tall (obviously!) so please bear with my shots. Steamed Shrimp in Sweet Chili Sauce - Thuk Thai

Due to conflicting schedule, my boyfriend and I rarely go out. Well, attending the Sunday mass and joining Magic The Gathering tournament happen during weekends so I’m referring to weekdays. I was surprised earlier when he texted that he’s waiting for me at the 8th floor of RBC Tower 2 after dropping by to my place and leaving my MTG deck to our landlady. Cool! I was not feeling well and his presence would definitely make me feel better. Thuk Thai was our first choice for late lunch. We indulged ourselves with these hottest cravings: Steamed Shrimp in Sweet Chili Sauce Chicken in Green...
