People these days are too busy that they no longer have time to have some decent breakfast. But the thing is that picking up a sandwich and or a muffin while on the way to work is not enough. Remember that going to work with an empty stomach is not favorable because you do not have enough sugar; energy to keep up with work and it will affect your productivity. It is important that you realize the importance of having a decent breakfast. And the first step in acknowledging the importance of breakfast is by making time to have a decent breakfast. The second is preparing real and healthy breakfast like oatmeal, flaxseed, blueberries and even almonds.

Oatmeal with Blueberries and Almonds

If you are preparing some oatmeal for breakfast, what you can do is to add some grounded flaxseed, frozen blueberries and some sliced almonds. You also have the option of putting a bit of cinnamon and a bit of honey but only do this if you are preparing natural oatmeal rather than instant oatmeal. The good thing about this kind of combination is that these foods provided the energy that your body needs to be productive. They are filled with fiber and nutrients. They also offer a good percentage of protein and fat but what makes them really good is that it will not take you the whole day to prepare them.

Scrambled Tofu with Green Peppers

Another healthy option for breakfast is to have some scrambled tofu. You can simply add some green peppers, onions and maybe a bit of soy sauce and other spices to make it more delicious. Having some fresh berries and perhaps some yogurt can also be a healthy alternative. Just make sure that you get the low-fat yogurt one as oppose to the non-fat kind of yogurt since you do not want too much sugar too. Soy yogurt can also do the trick. So if you think that your work is more important than your health, then you may want to reconsider and enjoy some healthy breakfast from now on.
